Defiance in a Context of Repression
Confusion reigned yesterday after a wave of anti-regime protests unfolded across nine Venezuelan states, as well as in New York, Madrid, and other global cities.
These demonstrations came on the eve of Nicolás Maduro’s inauguration today, January 10, with thousands demanding his resignation following his loss in the July elections.
